General Description

Kohler R165C3 Diesel Generator Set, manufactured in France, with a power output of 165 kVA in emergency mode and 150 kVA in continuous mode, operating at a frequency of 50 Hz and a speed of 1500 rpm. Supplied voltage: 400 / 230V.


The generator is equipped with a JOHN DEERE engine with a displacement of 6.72 liters and a maximum power of 153 kW:

  • Fuel consumption at 100% load: 34.9 l/h
  • Fuel consumption at 75% load: 24.5 l/h

The generator is equipped with a direct-coupled Kohler alternator, self-excited without brushes, insulation class H, protection degree IP 23, with 3 phases / 4 poles.

Constructive Elements

The generator has a fuel tank with a capacity of 377 liters, an electronic speed regulator, a liquid cooling preheating system (for easy starting in cold seasons), a 12V starting system, a rectifier for battery charging when the generator is not running, and an alternator for charging the battery during engine operation. It also has vibration dampers placed between the chassis and the engine-alternator assembly.

APM403 Digital Controller

The control panel is user-friendly, even for unskilled personnel, designed to provide extensive details about the generator’s operation. The controller incorporates dozens of measuring instruments for monitoring the generator’s operation, warning devices for faults, control keys, and indicators for various warning and proper operation messages for the entire assembly.

Soundproof Enclosure

The soundproof enclosure is constructed with durable elements, painted to the highest standards. It has doors that allow easy access to the generator’s components for quick and easy interventions. The soundproofing capacity of the enclosure is impressive, reducing the noise level to 79 dB at 1 meter and 68 dB at 7 meters.
