General Description

Kohler KD4500 Diesel Generator, manufactured in France, produces 4500 kVA in emergency mode and 4090 kVA in continuous mode, at a frequency of 50 Hz and a speed of 1500 rpm. Supplied voltage: 400 / 230 V.

The generator is equipped with a KOHLER KD Series 103.43l engine, with a maximum power of 3800 kW:

Alternator

The generator set is equipped with a Kohler alternator with direct coupling, self-excited without brushes, insulation class H, IP 23 protection degree, with 3 phases / 4 poles.

Structural Elements

The generator is equipped with an electronic speed regulator, a pre-heating system for the cooling liquid (for easy starting in cold seasons), a 12V starting system, a rectifier for charging the battery when the generator is not in operation, an alternator for charging the battery during engine operation, and vibration dampers located between the chassis and the engine-alternator assembly.

APM802 Digital Controller

The control panel is user-friendly, even for unskilled personnel, designed to provide extensive details about the generator’s operation. The controller incorporates dozens of measurement instruments for generator operation, signaling devices for faults and more, control keys, and indicators for various warning messages and correct operation of the entire assembly.
