Product Description

The Kohler D440 generator set is designed to meet demanding requirements, providing 440 kVA in emergency mode and 400 kVA in continuous mode, operating at a frequency of 50 Hz and a speed of 1500 rpm. The supplied voltage is 400/230V.


The generator features a DOOSAN engine with a displacement of 14.62 liters, delivering a maximum power of 414 kW:

  • Fuel consumption at 100% load: 89.3 l/h
  • Fuel consumption at 75% load: 65.2 l/h
  • Fuel consumption at 50% load: 43.9 l/h


The generator set is equipped with a Kohler alternator, featuring direct coupling, brushless self-excitation, insulation class H, protection degree IP 23, with 3 phases / 4 poles.

Constructive Elements

The generator comes with a 500-liter fuel tank, an electronic speed regulator, a pre-heating system for the cooling liquid (facilitating easy starting in cold seasons), a 12V starting system, a rectifier for charging the battery when the generator is not running, an alternator for charging the battery during engine operation, and vibration dampers positioned between the chassis and the motor-alternator assembly.

APM303 Digital Controller

The control panel is user-friendly, even for unskilled personnel, designed to provide extensive details about the generator set’s operation. The controller integrates numerous measuring instruments for generator operation, signaling devices for faults, control keys, and indicators for various warning messages and proper functioning of the entire assembly.

Soundproof Enclosure

The soundproof enclosure is constructed from sturdy elements, painted to the highest standards. Equipped with doors for easy access to the generator set components, allowing quick and easy interventions. The soundproofing capability reduces the noise level to 85 dB at 1 meter and 75 dB at 7 meters.
