General Description

The Kohler KD1100 generator set is a diesel-powered unit manufactured in France, capable of producing 1100 kVA in emergency mode and 1000 kVA in continuous operation, operating at a frequency of 50 Hz and a speed of 1500 rpm. The supplied voltage is 400 / 230 V.

Engine

The generator is equipped with a KOHLER KD Series engine with a displacement of 26.97 liters, providing a maximum power of 979 kW:

Alternator

The generator set features a Kohler alternator with direct coupling, self-excited without brushes, insulation class H, protection degree IP 23, with 3 phases / 4 poles.

Constructive Elements

The generator includes a 1035-liter tank integrated under the chassis, electronic speed regulator, pre-heating system for the coolant (for easy starting in cold seasons), 12V starting system, rectifier for battery charging when the generator is not in operation, alternator for charging the battery during engine operation, and vibration dampers placed between the chassis and the engine-alternator assembly.

APM403 Digital Controller

The control panel is user-friendly even for untrained personnel, designed to provide extensive details about the generator set’s operation. The controller incorporates numerous measuring instruments for generator operation, signaling devices for faults and more, control keys, and indicators for various warning messages and correct operation of the entire assembly.

Soundproof Canopy

The soundproof canopy is constructed from sturdy elements, painted to the highest standards. It is equipped with doors that allow easy access to the generator set’s components for quick and easy interventions. The soundproofing capacity of the canopy is impressive, reducing the noise level to 87 dB at 1 meter and 78 dB at 7 meters.
