Enphase IQ7X Microinverter
The Enphase IQ7X microinverter is mounted on the back of individual solar panels, unlike regular inverters where an entire string is attached to a single inverter. This setup ensures optimal efficiency, maximum reliability, and extreme safety. Note: IQ7X can only be used with modules containing 96 cells.

Optimal Efficiency
Conventional photovoltaic systems typically start generating energy only when the sun is at a higher level. Enphase installations will begin operating as soon as the sun rises. Another disadvantage of other systems is that the entire string is only as powerful as its weakest link. When one panel is obstructed, the entire string it is connected to will experience performance losses. The IQ7X microinverters operate on each module individually, meaning that other panels in the same installation will not be affected and will continue to operate optimally.
Maximum Reliability
When a module in a string ceases to function due to a defect or error, the entire string will be affected. Enphase IQ7X microinverters ensure that panels operating within optimal parameters function correctly. The reliability of these inverters is guaranteed, and if, on rare occasions, a microinverter fails within the 25-year warranty period, it will be replaced at no additional cost.
Extreme Safety
The Enphase system means safe alternating current for each module directly linked to a switch. In the event of a failure, the switch will immediately cut off the power. String inverters typically mean high DC voltage and usually cannot perform this function. A significant risk is, for example, electrical arcs that can lead to fires. More advantages of an Enphase installation include the integrated detection system that monitors wiring faults and the fact that microinverters do not produce radiation.
Future-Ready
Expanding the number of solar modules is easily possible. The system will be prepared for smart devices, such as smart thermostats. This is partly due to the microchip integrated into an Enphase IQ7X microinverter.
