Kohler T1250 Diesel Generator – Overview

Kohler T1250 is a diesel generator produced in France, with capacities of 1250 kVA in emergency mode and 1136 kVA in continuous mode, operating at a frequency of 50 Hz and a speed of 1500 rpm. Supplied voltage: 400 / 230V.


The generator is equipped with a MITSUBISHI engine with a displacement of 49.03 liters, providing a maximum power of 1220 kW:

  • Fuel consumption at 100% load: 311.4 l/h


The generator is equipped with a Kohler alternator with direct coupling, self-excited without brushes, insulation class H, protection degree IP 23, with 3 phases / 4 poles.

Constructive Elements

The generator features a 1050-liter integrated tank under the chassis, electronic speed regulator, preheating system for the cooling liquid (for easy starting in cold seasons), 12V starting system, rectifier for battery charging when the generator is not in operation, alternator for charging the accumulator during engine operation, and vibration dampers placed between the chassis and the motor-alternator assembly.

APM403 Digital Controller

The control panel is user-friendly, even for unskilled personnel, designed to provide extensive details about the generator’s operation. The controller incorporates dozens of instruments to measure generator performance, signaling devices for faults and more, command keys, and indicators for various warning messages and correct operation of the entire assembly.

Soundproof Enclosure

The soundproof enclosure is constructed from durable elements, painted to the highest standards. Equipped with doors allowing easy access to the generator components for quick and easy interventions. The soundproofing capacity of the enclosure is impressive, reducing the noise level to 89 dB at 1 meter and 90 dB at 7 meters.
