In a data center, continuity of power supply is not optional. The infrastructure must remain operational during grid outages, maintenance work or unexpected failures.
Over the past 15 years, Best Tools Company has installed more than 50 MW of backup power exclusively for data center projects in Romania. However, our experience goes beyond generator supply. We have also been involved in the development of complete data centers, including as the lead partner within project consortia.
Generators, UPS Systems and Integrated Infrastructure
A data center power system must be designed and managed as a whole.
The UPS supports critical loads immediately after a grid failure, while the generator sets subsequently take over to ensure long-term continuity. Automation systems, electrical panels, synchronisation systems and auxiliary installations must all work together reliably and predictably.
For data center projects, Best Tools can supply and integrate:
- Rehlko generator sets;
- Riello UPS systems;
- automation systems and electrical panels;
- synchronisation and paralleling systems;
- fuel tanks and fuel supply systems;
- ventilation and exhaust systems;
- monitoring and communication solutions;
- testing and commissioning.
Best Tools is the official Rehlko distributor in Romania and provides backup power solutions for critical infrastructure, from smaller applications to complex systems comprising several synchronised generator sets.
Riello UPS systems complete this architecture by protecting IT equipment and providing uninterrupted power during the interval between a grid failure and the moment the generators take over the load.
More Than 50 MW Installed for Data Center Projects
The more than 50 MW installed in Romania include different configurations, designed according to the required power, redundancy level, autonomy and future expansion plans of each data center.
Best Tools can become involved from the consultancy and design stage and continue with equipment supply, installation, system integration, testing and commissioning.
In certain projects, our role has extended beyond power infrastructure. Best Tools has also coordinated the implementation of complete data centers, managing multiple technical disciplines and suppliers within the same project.
Proven Experience in Complex Projects
One relevant example is the data center developed in Sibiu for public-sector IT infrastructure, in partnership with Marctel SIT.
Best Tools acted as the lead partner within the consortium, and the project obtained TIER III certification from the Uptime Institute for both design and constructed facility.
The data center integrates redundant power and cooling architecture, Rehlko generator sets, UPS systems and redundant electrical panels. The infrastructure was designed to allow planned maintenance operations to be carried out without interrupting critical systems.
This project demonstrates that experience in data center development is not only about selecting the right equipment. It is also about integrating every component into a coherent, tested infrastructure that is ready to perform when required.
From Equipment Supply to Complete Projects
Some projects require a correctly sized generator and UPS system. Others involve several power sources, redundancy, synchronisation, extended autonomy and the coordination of an entire infrastructure.
Best Tools can provide the level of involvement required for each project: from supplying and integrating power systems to developing a complete data center.

Not just products. Projects.
